Howdy there backers!
Since we've hit the stretch goal unlocking a new "RiffTrax Original" educational short from the minds of Bridget and Mary Jo, we asked Bridget to share a bit about what you should expect from the project.
"Bridget and Mary Jo will produce and star in an original 'Coronet-style' educational short, written especially for Kickstarter backers. Topics could include, but are not limited to: penmanship, good citizenship, posture, grooming, table manners, getting along with your family, dating your family, and more! Running time will be approximately 8 minutes."
Sounds like it's gonna be a ton of fun! If you want the first RiffTrax-produced educational short as part of your Kickstarter rewards, be sure to back at the $75 "ALL DIGITAL + DIGITAL STRETCH" or $100 and higher reward levels before this campaign ends. Remember: if you increase your pledge, be sure you select the newreward level in addition to increasing your donation amount. Can't manage either of those tiers? No worries - this short will be for sale on RiffTrax dot com as well!

We've been really impressed with the progress we've made on our new stretch goals over the last twenty four hours. We just unlocked Bridget and Mary Jo's very own educational short plus a new parody song from the RiffTones, and we're well on our way to 50 more clips for RiffTrax: The Game! Amongst all the fun (and also the possibility of a CATS riff) we wanted to drop in and show you the updated design for our official RiffTrax Live: Return of Swamp Thing pin. Check it out!
What do you folks think? We love how the drawing really captures the essence of Heather Locklear's Razzie-award-winning performance. With just over a week left in this year's Kickstarter campaign. Since we're in the final stretch, we only thought it was appropriate to limber up and bust out our last slate of stretch goals!
6,000 Backers: RiffTones Parody Song (Free to all backers)
If you've enjoyed the comedic musical wares of The RiffTones over the years, including recent hits like Funky Hobgoblins, Funky Little Baby Ghost, and other, non-funky tunes, you'll be pleased to hear that Kevin Murphy has another RiffTones tune up his sleeve! If we surpass 6,000 backers on this campaign, Kevin will spin up another piece of musical parody — and all backers will get it for free!
Worried one of your RiffTrax favorites might not be appearing in RiffTrax: The Game? Well, belay those concerns, we say! If we reach 6,250 backers, we'll be adding 50 new clips to the game (after it launches) from classic RiffTrax material, adding around 2 hours of gameplay from 450 new jokes created just for the game!
That's right! After tireless searching and rummaging through the deepest depths of film reels, we have uncovered a totally new, pristine version of the short film The Tale of Moose Baby aka Baby Moose. This new edition features four more minutes of Moose Baby / Baby Moose footage cut from the original, as well as an (allegedly) new narrator and different script! (Also, our Traxians over on Patreon have seen the full, unriffed short - which we posted almost two years ago!)

If we can accumulate 6,500 backers for this campaign, we'll finally write an all-new riff for this classic short, and all backers at the $50 level or more will get this new piece of moosey goodness FREE as part of their rewards.
More backers mean even more RiffTrax: The Game! If we can get past 6,750 backers on this campaign, we'll be adding a second update after the game's release with 50 more clips from the RiffTrax library as well as 450 jokes crafted just for the game.
7,000 Backers: Your name on a "Thank You" pre-show slide ($30+)
If you're backing this Kickstarter, then you're probably well-acquainted with our RiffTrax Live pre-show that features music and hilarious fake movie "trivia."
If we manage to get 7,000 backers, you can be a part of that very pre-show...in a "small" way! All backers at the $30 leveland higher will have their names featured on a slide (or two) in the pre-show for this year's show. Be sure to bring your opera glasses!
7,500 Backers: CATS Just The Jokes MP3 ($75, $100+)
CATS (2019) is one of our most requested riffs -- and for good reason! It's rare that a film that's taking itself so seriously, with financial backing so high, and a cast so star-studded, fails so spectacularly. But CATS did it, and even before the theatrical numbers were out, RiffTrax fans everywhere demanded we riff it.
With your help, those dreams of a CATS riff won't be all alone in the moonlight if we can rum tum tug our way past 7,500 backers! If we're successful, we'll strap ourselves in to write and record a CATS riff, and then all backers at the $75 all digital tier and the$100 level or higher will get it as their jellicle choice! (AKA free as part of their rewards). And it will show up in your Library on the site as well as in our MP3 Syncing App!
8,000 Backers: Old MP3 Riff to backers at levels $15+
Thanks to the dedication of you backers, we've already unlocked an MP3 riff of the M. Night Shyamalan flop, Old. If we can get 8,000 backers on to our weird secluded beach, all backers at the $15 level and higher will get it FREE as part of their rewards! Plus...
9,000 Backers: Old MP3 Riff becomes free to ALL backers!
If we can manage to snag 1,000 more backers, for a total of 9,000, everysingle backer will thenget Old FREE as part of their rewards! If our riffs of The Happening and The Sixth Sense are any indication, this will be one you won't want to miss.
10,000 Backers: Judge Dredd Just The Jokes MP3 ($75, $100+)
Are you the law? It remains to be seen, but YOU could be the riff - Judge Dredd riff that is! We'll need to rally hard to hit this stretch goal, but if we can get to 10,000 backers, we'll finally record a Just The Jokes riff of this 90s comic book schlock-fest starring Sylvester Stallone, and all backers at the $75 all digital tier and $100 level and higher will get it for FREE as part of their rewards! And it'll work with the App!

PHEW! That's a lot of new goals to hit in the last week of the campaign, but with the assistance of such a dedicated group of backers like you, we know we can do it!
Since we've gone way past our main funding goal, we really need your help to simply get as many backers as we can. Howdy there, backers!
During our Kickstarter campaigns, especially ones as eventful as this year's, it's easy for some things to fall through the cracks. With less than ten days left in the campaign, we wanted to bring up some of the fine rewards we're offering back to your attention.
Now at a new, lower pledge amount: you, too, can be a feature inside the living room of the upcoming RiffTrax Video Game! Each time the game starts up, two different pictures will be shown (as our mockup above illustrates) - and one of those frames could display yourself, a beloved pet, or even your art! All images must be approved by RiffTrax, but once they are, we guarantee they'll be included in the game for at least one whole year. Note: These images will not be included in the launch version of RiffTrax: The Game, but will be available in an update shortly after the game's release.
Over the years, you may have noticed artist Len Peralta's fine work in our live show avatars, our semi-annual Christmas cards (such as the one pictured above) or on some of our more recent RiffTrax posters like Face/Off and Money Plane. Now you can also be turned into a cartoon version of yourself in Len's signature style! Pledge at this level, and Len will draw a caricature of you hangin' out with any character of your choice from the pantheon of our many RiffTrax releases. Can include you + one family member, friend, etc., along with your favorite RiffTrax Character!

We hope you're still excited after our big announcement yesterday -- because we're about to make things even more exciting! As promised, here are some shiny new levels to get you (and even your friends) into RiffTrax: The Game - literally!
$60 - Attend The (Online) Game Premiere
Put on your finest gaming garb and get gussied up for the RiffTrax: The Game premiere! Mike, Kevin, Bill, and the RiffTrax staff will introduce the game, celebrate our entry into the gaming world, play a round or two, do a brief Q&A, and more! Don't worry if you won't be able to attend the live premiere - a video of the event will be made available to backers at this level shortly after.
$200 - Your Name In The Game Credits!
Have you ever wanted to be in a video game? Well, what about your name? Now you can have your name immortalized for the whole RiffTrax gaming community to view in all its pixelated glory. After each game, your name will appear in a "Special Thanks" section of the credits. Real names only, please!
$400 - Write a Game Riff (Early Bird)
In the past, Kickstarter backers have written riffs for the big screen. But never before have they written them for the small screen! We're releasing a very limited number (10) of this reward at a special early bird price, so act fast if you want to pen a riff for RiffTrax: The Game. NOTE: Your riff will not appear in the release version of the game on May 5th, but will be part of a downloadable update soon thereafter.
Have you ever wanted your name in a game? What about your picture?! A picture of your choosing, whether it be a photo of a family pet, something you've drawn, or just a good old-fashioned selfie, will appear in one of the picture frames hanging on the back wall of the RiffTrax: The Game living room for a whole year!
The photos, just like those movie posters, change between sessions of the game, so there's no telling when your picture might pop up and join in on the fun! There are just a few of these rewards (10) available at this special early bird price point, so snap to it! NOTE: All pictures must be approved by RiffTrax.Yourimage will not appear in the release version of the game on May 5th, but will be included in a downloadable update shortly after.
$1000 -You and Two Friends Play The Game Early with RiffTrax!
Sure, you could play RiffTrax: The Game with anyone. But why do that when you can play with RiffTrax! If you back at this level, you and two friends of your choice will get to be some of the first people to play the game. Not only that, but you'll get to play with at least one of Mike, Kevin, and Bill, plus other members of the RiffTrax team! Only three of these rewards are available, so don't wait if you'd like to play the game the RiffTrax way!
